Discover a completely different side of Malta with the island’s only via ferrata route, set in the beautiful natural surroundings of Mosta Valley.
This guided outdoor experience is designed for anyone who enjoys nature, movement, and a bit of challenge, without needing any previous climbing experience. Safely secured to a continuous cable system the entire time, you’ll follow a scenic route along the valley walls while our qualified guides support you every step of the way.
Move steadily across cable traverses, climb sturdy rung ladders, and make your way up the limestone cliffs, gaining height gradually as the views open up around you. At certain points you’ll be up to 50 metres above the valley floor, with plenty of time to pause, catch your breath, and take photos of the landscape below. Furthermore the course includes a short zipline, adding a fun and memorable element along the way, before continuing on the rest of the route.

What is Via Ferrata?

Via Ferrata can be described as vertical hiking, combining elements of hiking and climbing along a rock face. The route is equipped with steel cables, ladders, and steps fixed into the rock, and participants wear a helmet, harness, and safety gear that stays clipped to the cable along the way. As a result, it’s a fun and secure way to explore cliffs and enjoy breathtaking views. You can join even without any climbing experience!
