Bushcraft
Your team will start a journey through the Woodland Public Reserve, equipped with the necessary items for assigned tasks. The group will be divided into teams, engaging in friendly competition focused on bushcraft activities and survival skills, as listed below. At each stop along the walk, our guide will introduce a new activity, explaining the task before the teams move forward. Some activities will have time constraints, while others will follow specific rules. Although not overly physically demanding, each activity emphasizes teamwork, as successful completion relies on the collaboration of the team. The details of the activities and rules will be kept as a surprise until the actual team-building session.
Participants are advised to wear suitable clothing and shoes for navigating the woodland, where encounters with branches, thorns, and dirt are part of the experience.
The planned activities include:
1. Basic knots for various situations such as first aid, building shelters, climbing, and rescue.
2. How to construct and navigate a Tyrolean rope cross, similar to techniques used by Bear Grylls.
3. Building emergency shelters to stay dry during a rainy night.
4. Hunting skills, including an archery session.
5. Basics of first aid and techniques for transporting an injured person.
6. Creating SOS signs using natural materials or personal items.
7. Identifying animal tracks.
8. Tying a fishing hook.
